With more details revealed about the HoM, I was wondering if accomplishments were account wide or per character only. Also, if accounts merging were somewhat of a possibility along the future. Reason I'm asking is that I'm the owner of two accounts, one with 6 characters and the other with 13 characters. In all I have a variety of titles, 15k armor sets and weapons.
It would be nice to finally be able to merge the two and at the same time merging my different accomplishments.

So perhaps Gaile could throw a bit of light of this for me and, I'm sure, many others who don't exactly know how to juggle between their accounts in prevision of GW:EN or GW2.

Fully agree, I own 2 accounts myself and would love to be able to merge them. Maybe something like GW2 allows multiple accounts with EotN be added and utilized. I've brought the idea to Gaile's attention in game several times but sadly have heard nothing further on it other then she liked the idea and would bring it up.

I understand that, but a monument merge for GW2 unlocks might be interesting (And isn't technically an account merge). i only have 1 acct , but i have seen plenty of ppl on these boards who paid for "Extra Storage"

. This would be the 1 place where they could possibly help those who purchased more than 1 copy, exen if its only for a future game...

Its not a true account merger that would effect GW1 at all. I know that will never happen. This would be GW2 accepting two GW1 account to be linked to it if both have GW:EN. Therefore allowing basically a merger for the future game.

They even put inside boxes text, what tell that it is ideal to add all chapters under same account and not make additional ones, BECAUSE IF YOU DO, YOU CAN'T MERGE THEM.

Sometimes it is good to believe what you find inside game box, but many players desired that two extra character slots was worth it.

Of course, it lack logical reason why there is no account merger other than it takes time to do.

Clord, I understand what you mean, but realize that my second account was created shortly after I had created my first one in may 2005. At the time, the online store and extra character slots didn't even exist. The only way to gain additional character slots was to buy an additional copy.

As the announcement of GW2 took the GW concept (additional chapters every six months or so) then having two accounts sort of became a problem for me.
Both accounts have lots of good accomplishments but now I hesitate as to which account I should work on in order to maximize the HoM bonuses.

Knowing what ANet plans to do with this, because I'm not the only one with two or more accounts, would help me a grat deal, and other people too.

Cheap character slots? £2.99 ingame store but £9.99 for a campaign with . . 5 slots? even if its only 4 it's still cheaper

I too, would like to see some kind of account merging for GW2. I got my second account when it was said that extra slots would never happen. We all know that changed...

well i have 3 accts i would love to be able to merge them i have my main which has all 3 campains an then i have a single factions and a single prophesies acct i would love to be able to merge the two singles together then i would even finish buying NF again an even GW:EN to add to it so yes i definately...

this for consideration i would even be willing to either delete two slots from one of those accts or just pay the extra to keep em either way but plz if u can find it in ur spare time to allow merging then im game
